If you decide to set up an appointment, I will send you information and questionnaires to fill out and return to me so that I can review them in preparation for our first session. In the first few sessions we assess and plan for your needs. These initial sessions include discussion of the difficulties you want help with, your goals for therapy, questions you have, background information and earlier experiences.
We will collaborate on developing a therapy plan. To make therapy more effective, we will often end sessions with a plan for how to use, practice, or apply what we've discussed in your day to day life.
